Game Update: Sun lead Sky at half

Tamika Whitmore scored 14 points, Lindsay Whalen has 12 and the Sun lead the Chicago Sky, 40-37, at the half at UIC Pavilion in Chicago. You can follow the scoring here, but here are some key stats from the first half:

There were 11 lead changes and nine ties through the first two quarters. The Sun have done little to slow the Sky inside: They're losing the rebound battle, 24-18, and Sylvia Fowles has nine points and eight rebounds. But they've limited their turnovers (four total) and Whitmore (5-for-7, 2-for-3 from 3) and Whalen (4-for-7, 2-for-3) have been extremely efficient from the field.
